The Pinewood at Pike Bay... We invite you to experience the rustic but modern casual atmosphere of The Pinewood at Pike Bay. Nestled in a area of whispering pines and birch, our cottage will capture your hearts as it did ours.
The Pinewood is a 3 bedroom 1 bath year 'round cottage. The exterior is ½ logs and the interior walls are warm knotty pine. It has a large screened porch with a kitchen table to enjoy the beautiful lake view if your prefer to dine outside on a rainy afternoon! Our cottage offers comfortable beds, bathroom with vanity and shower, forced air gas heat, television with DVD player. The kitchen is equipped for housekeeping, with dishes, cookware, full refrigerator, gas stove with oven and micro wave. Blankets and bedding are furnished. (Please bring your own towels and dish towels). Outside, we provide a Weber grill, picnic table, chairs, and a fire pit. Enjoy your private pier and your own sand beach. Also included for your fishing excursions is a 14f oot aluminum boat, oars and life jackets. Cozy, very clean and comfortable; our cottage will provide a wonderful vacation get away with out giving up the comforts of home. Dam Lake (797 acres) is one of five lakes that make up the Sugar Camp Chain of Lakes. Much of the land is owned by the sate of Wisconsin; you will be hard pressed to find more beautiful scenery anywhere. Wild life abounds in this quiet bay, bald eagles, otters, beaver, ducks, osprey are sighted often. The Sugar Camp chain is also known for its fishery. Trophy Muskie, Walleye, Bass, Northern, Crappies and numerous panfish are in abundant supply. The Pinewood is also adjacent to the American Legion State Forest for those that enjoy exploring the many thousand acres of forest..or perhaps grouse or deer hunting or a remote fishing trip. What ever the season, you will relax in a the warm friendly atmosphere this area has to offer. High season-June 12th to August 28th $950 Low season $695 a week. (Based on a group of 4 additional $50 a week per person). ½ deposit upon booking remainder due upon check in. Check in 3 pm check out 9a.m.
