Closest campground to Milwaukee with a private glacial lake and facilities for your enjoyment

Lake Lenwood's 20 acre, 50 ft. deep spring-fed glacial lake offers the finest in swimming and fishing with trout, walleye, bass, perch, northern, bluegill and crappie to tempt you. Lake Lenwood, close to Milwaukee, with its refreshing clear water, is the areas finest recreation spot. Access to Lake Lenwood is limited to Lenwood customers only. Only electric motors may be used on the lake. No motors of any kind are permitted on Lake Lenwood rental boats. Lenwood campers may hand launch canoes or 12 feet maximum row boats only, for a fee of $3.00 a day. No inflatable boats. Boats are not allowed on the lake after dusk or before dawn. Wisconsin fishing license required.

Lake Lenwood offers itself as a daily recreational spot. If you don't want to camp, you can come and spend the day on the beach. The admission fee includes parking, swimming, sandy beach, slide, pier with diving board, raft, water basketball, grassy and shaded picnic area with tables and grills, playground with play system, and the exciting spiral slide "The Tower". Separate fishing pier. We also have fishing boats, paddle boats, hydro-bikes, canoes, kayaks, and tubes for you to rent. So pack your picnic lunch and plan to spend the day with us.

Beach hours: 10:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Daily beach admission open Memorial Day through Labor day. ( Beach is open to campers before Memorial Day and after Labor Day).
No pets allowed on the beach or on picnic area.
Daily admission not allowed to bring in boats or pets.

Here at "Lenwood" we offer a quiet camping experience. There are trailer and tent sites encircling the lake, some set back and some on the lakeshore. Available are sites with 15, 30 and 50 amp electric, water and sewer hook-ups. Free Wi-Fi (wireless Internet) at your site. Also available are telephone and cable hook-ups for the long-term camper. Dump station available. We have clean bathroom facilities with flush toilets and showers. Camping fee includes beach, picnic area and hiking area. Available to rent are fishing boats, paddle boats, hydro-bikes, canoes, kayaks and tubes. In our store we have soda, candy, snacks, ice, firewood and bait. Complete shopping centers are nearby. You may (hand) launch your boat for a fee of $3.00/day.

Some pets may be allowed on the campground (number & size are limited). They must be of a non-intimidating type (discretion of management), cleaned up after, kept on a leash and must not be left unattended. Dogs must not be allowed to bark at any time. Dogs are not allowed with tents. Pet owners agree to remove pet from premises if requested by management.
No unlicensed battery or gas powered vehicels, scooters, carts, etc.
Nearby there is a nice supper club, golf courses, Lake Michigan fishing charters, horseback riding, mini golf, roller skating, theater, laundromat, indoor go-cart track, kennel service, church services, etc.

West Bend: Pleasant shopping in the restored downtown area, glacial hiking trail, River Walk, Washington County Fair Grounds. "Eisenbahn" Rails to Trails: approx. 20 miles of biking and walking.
Richfield: Cabella's
Elkhart Lake: Road Race (motorcycle and auto).
Slinger: stock car races (Sunday Evenings).
Kewaskum: Annual KMSR Mortorcycle Hillclimb - Father's Day, Kettle Moraine State Forest hiking trails.
Hartford: Auto Museum, Holy Hill, Tannery Tour, Historic Downtown.
Horicon Marsh: Canadian goose flyway.
Cedarburg: Winery, antique shops, old mill and covered bridge.
Waubeka: Original Flag Day site.
Milwaukee: Offers Museum, Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Brewery Tours, Harley Davidson Motor Company engine plant tours, State Fair as well as professional baseball.
Oshkosh: Annual Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA Museum & Fly In).
Port Washington: On Lake Michigan, Annual Fish Days.

Lake Lenwood is located near West Bend which is in the heart of the Kettle Moraine only 35 minutes North of Milwaukee.

Take Highway U.S. 45 to Highway D exit. East on D about 1 mile to Highway 144 North (1st stop light). Then Highway 144 North 1 mile. Watch on right for yellow "Lenwood" sign. Veer right onto Wallace Lake Road and go approximately 200 feet then right on Lenwood Drive to the office.

From Hwy. 43: Hwy 33 West aproximately 12 miles to Trenton Road, North 1.5 miles to Wallace Lake Road, West 1.2 miles to Lenwood Dr.

2008 Daily Camping Rates

Site - water, electric (tent)	$ 31.00
Site - water, electric (air cond. incl.)	$ 32.00
Site - water, electric, sewer (air cond. incl.)	$ 35.00
Lakefront sites - an additional	$ 7.00 per day

Site fees include one family - father, and / or mother and includes up to 3 unmarried minor dependant children. Sales tax not included.

*Extra Adult (maximum of 2, if permited) $8.00 ea.
*Extra Child (maximum of 2, if permited) $4.00 ea.
*Arrangements must be made when making reservations.
No additional people or pets allowed to be added to the site.
One vehicle maximum per site other than camping unit.

Mid-Week Special: Sun. - Fri., (upon registration) 3, 4 and 5 night discounts available. (Non-holidays) Ask for details.

Weekly rate: One, two, threem four week (monthly) and seasonal rates available upon request.

VISITORS

All visitors and guests of campers must register and pay in the office before entering. Maximum number of guests are two adults and two children. We reserve the right to not allow visitors on certain weekends. All rules apply. Visitors are not allowed to bring pets into the campground. The objective is to not let visitors have a negative affect on other campers. Unregistered guests will be charged to site holder and asked to leave.

Visitor hours: After 10:00 a.m. and out Before 7:30 p.m.

RESERVATIONS

Please call to make a reservation. A minimum two day stay is required to make a reservation. Holiday weekends require a 3 day minimum. Stays of less than a week require full payment when reservation is made. To be sure of a site, make reservations well in advance.

Refunds (minus a 15% cancellation fee on the reserved length of stay) will be given with a minimum 2 week notice. Less than proper notice--NO REFUND, also no refunds or rainchecks due to weather conditions, etc.

Check-in after 3:00 p.m. Early arrivals may be prorated To ensure availability prior arrangements should be made.

You must be signed in and set-up before dusk, or come the next day (after 10:00 a.m.)

Check-out before 1: 00 p.m.

Quiet time: 9:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No radios or outside TV's after 9:30 p.m. Voices or sounds that may carry beyond the site. The objective of our policies is to provide a peaceful and secure atmosphere for all of our campers. Your cooperation is essential. No loud vehicles of any kind (discretion of management). Lenwood is geared to family camping. Any noise, activity and or arrangements that we feel are inappropriate or disruptive will not be allowed. Violators will be asked to leave with no refund.
