AN OLD FASHIONED VACATION
Named after the original owner, a lumberman who appreciated the northwoods, Conro's offers you and your family an opportunity to enjoy this vacation paradise. In a few words and pictures we will try to tell you the Story of Conro's.
Our grounds with its variety of trees, bushes and wild flowers, our lakes with their clean water and our shoreline with its sandy beach and natural growth area are typical of northern Wisconsin's beauty.

Conro's Resort offers one to five bedroom cottages. Our cottages have modern home-like cooking facilities, including built-in cabinets, electric ranges, microwaves, refrigerators, hot water, gas heat, dishes, tableware and small appliances. We provide all blankets and bed linen. Towels are not supplied. Each cottage has a charcoal grill and picnic table. Groceries can be purchased in stores and markets three to five miles away.

One-bedroom with queen size bed. A large living room with a three-piece corner unit sleeping two. One bathroom with fiberglass shower Patio door opens to a combination screened in porch overlooking Moen Lake. Automatic electric heat. Normal occupancy is two persons. Very comfortable for four persons.

Conro's Resort is located approximately 5 miles northeast of Rhinelander. Fine roads lead to Rhinelander and Conro's; U.S. Routes 8 and 45, Wisconsin 17 and 47 and Oneida County Road C Rhinelander, a small modern city, offers excellent shopping, fine lounges and eating places, theaters, clinics, a hospital and many churches.

Three-bedrooms - Two bedrooms have queen size beds, and one has twin beds. Large kitchen and living room. Combination screened in porch. One bathroom with fiberglass shower. Automatic electric heat. Normal occupancy is six persons.

We have separate docks for fishing and swimming. Moen Lake has a sand bottom lake, therefore, it is great for small children. We have approximately five acres of land with facilities for such games as volleyball, horseshoes, concrete basketball court, tether ball, badminton, shaded timber play center and a swing set for small children.

Five-bedrooms - One bedroom has 1 king bed, two have double beds, and two bedrooms have 2 twin beds. Three-bathrooms with ceramic tiled showers. Living room with natural stone fire-place. Central automatic gas furnace. Normal occupancy is ten persons.

Well.... We tried to "tell it like it is" at Conro's... We hope we have succeeded in presenting a true picture and in all sincerity that has been our plan and purpose. We hope we can welcome you and your family as guests. If not as guests, then as visitors .

Cottage weeks begin and end on Saturday. Checkout time is 9:00 a.m.
Cottages are ready for occupancy after 2:30 p.m.
Outboard motors and a 17 ft aluminum canoe are available for rent.
Boat cushions and life jackets are available.
For the convenience of our guests we require pets leashed when outside and not let alone inside.
$75 00 per pet, per week. Max. two pets per cottage.
There is a charge of $50 for each additional person over normal occupancy.
All bedrooms, living rooms and porches have wall to wall carpeting.
ADVANCE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED FOR FIRM COMMITMENT.
Rates do not include taxes. (5 1/2%)
In the event of cancellation, your deposit will be refunded, less 10%, if we are able to fill the vacancy completely.
